STANLEY I. KUTLER

Emeritus Professor of Law at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, Stanley Kutler is most famous for successfully suing the Nixon Library to release the Watergate tapes. Among his many books are Abuse of Power: The New Nixon Tapes (Free Press, 1997) and The Wars of Watergate: The Last Crisis of Richard Nixon (Knopf, 1992).

Kutler has written op-ed pieces and reviews in The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune, The Nation, Slate, and Salon.

He has appeared as a commentator on National Public Radio, and consulted on film projects, including the Emmy Award-winning BBC-Documentary Watergate and the Showtime film The Day Ronald Reagan Was Shot. Abuse of Power and The Wars of Watergate are being adapted for a Broadway play.
